Analista joined forces with PDA

During the past few years I have been investigating opportunities to combine forces with a business partner that would enhance Analista’s offering of products and services and add value to the new partner.

Recently Analista Modelling Systems was acquired by Process Design and Automation (PDA) and will now trade as Analista, a Division of PDA. Analista and PDA conducted successful projects together in the past and it was realised that much synergy exists between the two companies.

PDA is a single source solution company that provides tools to support the application of world-class strategies and constraints-based management principles. This empowers clients to optimize efficiencies, maximize throughput and improve customer service levels while minimizing operational expenses and inventory levels.

PDA is involved in a multitude of industries, enabling business to see their systems in real time by integrating with their value-adding processes.

By combining the core proficiencies of Analista and PDA we see tremendous opportunities, especially in the Industry 4.0 space, offering:

  • Simulation

  • Simulation-based Scheduling

  • Factory Automation

  • Process & Plant Design

  • MES

  • MIS

  • Bespoke Software

  • Drafting Department

  • Turnkey Solutions

  • Project Management

  • Warehouse management

and can therefore truly assist companies to make a successful digital transformation to Industry 4.0 implementation.

We are still the representatives for both Simio and Arena products in South Africa, Africa and the Middle East. We will still provide consulting and training services, so it will be business as usual, just under a new name and with more resources at our disposal. Analista Modelling Systems (Pty) Ltd will still exist for a while until all contractual issues have been wrapped up.

I believe that this new direction is going to be beneficial to all our existing and new clients!
