INDUSTRIAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES (i²t)

i²t provides turnkey solutions in automation, control, order picking and product tracking. They also develop customised software applications according to customer requirements.

The AMS and i²t partnership provides the following benefits to our customers:

• i²t will compile the requirements for the system to be automated
• AMS will simulate the process to be automated and determine whether the system will perform as designed
• With the simulation model the real capacity and the best operational rules of the system could be determined, as well as things like required buffer size, conveyor speed, equipment capacity, etc.
• i²t will then implement the system according to the outcome of the simulation model and most commissioning risks would have been eliminated

The customer could then rest assured that a well planned (and computer pre-tested) system will be implemented and the down times due to commissioning problems will be minimized.
